Oxford, 5th February 2025
The ZERO Institute’s ECR Network are delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration with the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network of the Glasgow Centre for Sustainable Energy. We marked the start of this new collaborative effort to create a nourishing environment for early career researchers with an online roundtable exploring themes in Community Energy.
The roundtable showcased insightful presentations by Harry Pitt Scott (University of Glasgow) on the social dimensions of infrastructure change and the political cultures of energy transitions; Simon Nazarenus (University of Oxford) on pathways to community energy for Milton-under-Wychwood; and Nicola Tait (University of Glasgow) on the feasibility of Glasgow relying on renewables, examined through Geographic Information Systems. The event was Co-Chaired by William Nibbs (University of Glasgow) and Anastasiia Rudkovska (University of Oxford) and facilitated by Anton Söderqvist and Hannah Salamon.
We look forward to expanding our ECR Network engagements in 2025 and beyond! If you are an ECR at Oxford and would like to learn more about how to get involved with this collaboration, please contact Anastasiia Rudkovska.
