Oxford DPhil Students to represent the UK in ASHRAE European Competition on Zero Carbon Data Centres

Three DPhil students from the University of Oxford will represent the UK team in the ASHRAE European Competition on Zero Carbon Data Centres. They are collaborating with students and academics from the University of Exeter, Loughborough University, London South Bank University, and the University of Oxford, bringing together a broad range of expertise to drive innovation in sustainable data centre management.

The team held their first kick-off meeting on 25 April 2025, where they outlined their strategy and developed a detailed working plan for their proposal. They’ve been hard at work since and we can’t wait to see what they come up with!
