Imogen leads communications for the ZERO Institute overseeing the website, social media, events marketing and public engagement. She works closely with researchers to communicate Oxford’s energy transition research to audiences ranging from policymakers and industry to students and the wider public. 

Throughout her career, she has specialised in making complex scientific research accessible, engaging and relevant to diverse audiences with a strong focus on climate and sustainability communications.

She has more than a decade of experience in science communication across broadcast, digital and institutional communications. Before joining the University of Oxford, she worked as a producer on factual television and digital projects for the BBC and other international broadcasters covering subjects including climate change, coronavirus, mass extinction and popular science. Her digital work has included collaborations with Studio Silverback and Jack Harries for COP26, as well as working with science creator Dianna Cowern (Physics Girl). Imogen also led communications for a 925-acre sustainability-focused estate in Hampshire.
