Gian Melloni is the ZERO Institute Programme Manager, with oversight on operations and management, including planning, governance, financial and contractual, administration, communications and liaisons, and team. He works closely with the Institute Director and sits in the leadership team.
Gian managed the REACH programme of the University of Oxford’s School of Geography and the Environment, which improved water security for 10 million people in Africa and Asia, and worked at the University of Sussex’s Institute of Development Studies.
Prior to joining UK Higher Education, Gian had a 15+ years career in international development, with a focus on water and environment, in a diversity of technical and managerial roles in international NGOs in Middle Eastern, Central African and South Asian countries.
