Getting to NetZero is a multi-disciplinary mission
The goal of the ZERO Institute is to bring together researchers from across the University of Oxford to find the solutions needed to deliver an equitable and resilient global zero-carbon energy system. This requires “whole systems” thinking and collaboration across departments. ZERO currently spans engineering, materials, chemistry, and geography & the environment – and continues to grow!
The ZERO Institute Affiliates Scheme
We aim to establish a vibrant network of ZERO Institute Affiliates, to underpin our goal of catalysing multi-disciplinary work on the zero-carbon energy transition.
Our Affiliates hold an existing appointment at the University of Oxford (including academic or non-academic staff or emeritus), and conduct or supervise outstanding research, impactful knowledge management, or dissemination, networking, outreach, promotion, on zero-carbon energy systems, related to the ZERO Institute’s research themes.
